Asociatia Alaturi de Tine

I am writing this on behalf of my friend that I have known for many years. She currently works in a non profitable organisation. This organization is a charity, that is used to support and raise funds for the little and innocent children of Romania. With out this money, they starve, die and may not have a reason to live.
These are the children they look afterHowever, these children are protected and looked after by carers, that take time out of their lives to help the unfortunate and the innocent. However, some people seem to be harsh enough to avoid this cause, to avoid this realism that goes on in the world today and to generally avoid those children in need.
I am writing this, for those few individuals who have not yet seen the realistic ways in which some children are left to fend for themselves. Those people, need to be reminded, that change only occurs when you actually act, and when you actually try to get up and do something about it. You can't sit there and watch someone else do it for you. Or express your views for you. You must act. Now.
Yes, some organisations want a pound a day. So, would we rather spend a pound on a glass of coke, rather than saving some African or Romanian's life. It is not a balanced argument. Nor is it even a argument. You will realise this eventually. You will realise that If you have the opportunity to save a life, you will take that opportunity. You can even explore here on their website link that my friend was willing to provide me with :
Or this one might work, if that one doesn't:
This is one of those little girls :) that with your help could have an awesome life
On that link, you will see the happy faces of those children, and occasional grumpy ones, because that's what children are like. They look like me and you, and lets not forget that we can help them. If you wanted you don't even have to get your money out of your wallet. All you have to do is spread the word. Literally, just tell your mum, your dad, your gran and grampa. It's that first stepping stone that is worth its while, that first stepping stone that is all in your hands. That first step to save someone's life. Do it for her (the girl on the right), my friend, me, them and most importantly yourself.

Facebook!

Facebook!

This evil logo, it ruins lives!
Facebook! It is the most addicting monstrosity known to man! It is legal. And it doesn’t damage your physical health. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that it is the sneakiest drug of all time. We as people don't even consider it a drug, because it has been given the name “social network”! It should be named, ‘time to waste my life on here and record my friends messages and use that to my advantage when actually speaking to them in real life “network”. But I suppose that’s not as catchy.
Anyway, i better start talking philosophically for you educated people who don’t understand the term “ranting”. So… Here I go… Some people who have gotten rid of their Facebook, believe that they no longer have a life. And that it has been thrown away via the click of a button! That button is used far too many times! It is that “deactivate account button” which really gets on my nerves. The one which basically means log off and you can log back on, you know just in case you want to. If it basically said “delete your account” then I would have done that and removed it, and I wouldn't have as much messes to clean up in my life! I wouldn’t have kept going back on it, to check if my friends are perfectly healthy, and that my ex-girlfriend hasn't found a new better looking boy friend than me and many other depression related things!
However, Facebook is great for advertising a company or yourself to gain those long and short term friends that we all need. It can help us gain confidence and make us realise who our friends are and who we are. This can all be done without having to go up and speak to certain individuals. So, in some respects it is a good source of communication. However, it shouldn't be miss used as a way of manipulating and causing other people to have depression and It definitely should not be used as a social convention.
Therefore, I advise you, a person or human being, whoever is reading this, to never and I mean never! log on, sign up or enrolled yourself as a Facebook member! Because it will wreck your life! However, twitter is fine! I’m joking ! Stay away from computers basically! They aren’t natural! And are man made objects! That shouldn’t exist! It’s always out of lust for playing god that makes us end up creating these things, these technological devices if you please. This is by me, i’m ranting, sorry, hope it’s informative and helps, do tell me. Feel free to give whatever feed back that you think may or may not be necessary.

Italy

It is basically a picture of Venice, I'm not writing about Venice, but it's to do with Italy, so I thought it was a little bit relevant.
Italy, a place of utter sweat. Why would you want to go to Italy in the summer ? I went to Italy and it was the hottest mind sizzling place I've ever been! Luckily, I havnt been any closer to the equator because I think I might die due to over heating. However, I will be going to Greece this summer. Yes, my logic makes no sense what so ever, but I will be having fun!
Anyway, In Italy I experienced many pizza and pasta dishes that were served on those white cloths that all restaurants seem to have. It was absolutely amazing ! I even tried a chocolate pizza, I didn't even think that you can have chocolate on a pizza! learn something new wherever you go.
You can also go and explore the town. When I went to explore the town they had this weird Scottish marching band. They wore multicoloured kilts and those gigantic bag pipes that I think no one should play, because the sound that comes out of them is like a half dead pigeon squawking for help! and it generally just hurts your ears.
However, there are nice shops there and there is a massive centre to the whole thing and whoops I forgot to mention where in Italy this is, it is in Florence. You know Florence, the place you may have visited playing assassins creed. Yes, I am a bit of a nerd, but it suits me on the occasion.
Anyway, go to Italy because It is great for getting a sun tan, or skin cancer, whatever your hoping for

The bucket list

A Bucket list is a list that an individual takes to avoid the even remote idea of death by using up whats left of their life to show that they have had a good life. Some people think that a bucket list is somthing you do before you "kick the bucket" (die), but it's more than that. It is a way out of your life, and into a different one. Even if it is only for that month or two you have left.
However, a bucket list can change you and reveal something you are not. An adrenaline junky if you will, or just genuinely an absolute nutter. Without a bucket list you will never know what you really can be and what your full potential is.
The other day, I made my own bucket list. I made it because I know I'm going to die someday, like everybody else. I also did it because it means I can start my bucket list now rather than rushing it near to the end of my life which sounds a lot more sensible than I thought it was.
Anyway, If you want any ideas as to how to do a bucket list then I suggest you read some from this site http://daringtolivefully.com/bucket-list-ideas or whatever one you fancy clicking on.
You may want to know that not all bucket lists will be for you, because obviously each person is different. Then again I'm sure you will find something to fun to do whether it's rock climbing or simply purchasing a lottery ticket, if you haven't already that is. Hope this helps those few, to think about what options they have. After all, life is about what path you take, it's the guidance that makes you take that certain path.

Summer time has gone

Yes, the summer is over ! all those magazines that say "now that summers over, the winter" bla bla bla...

No one actually wants summer to end, because summer is the moment and the season we all remember. Those places of extravagant beauty, where you could sit on a beach and wash yourself away into the sand. Those places where your brain clings onto as the BEST MEMORY. Those holiday get-a ways you love.

However, the only thing that can ruin it is, relationships. Surprisingly, people have more fun without a partner than with one. I Suppose it's because a partner can bring both the worst and the best out in you. If only people could settle with having no one, the stresses of life would be a lot less.

As an individual I am too shy to engage in any relationship. I managed to stay in a relationship with a girl for a whole month, without even seeing her! FACT! I am not that proud of it, but she was one of the prettiest girls I've met. After that relationship, I went for a girl who i thought was really interesting, but because of my shyness I didn't see her..

Luckily, I have vowed never to start another relationship, and partly it is because it can ruin your summertime experience.

By the way, did you know that during a summer holiday, some people like to sunbathe? you know the thing that gives you skin cancer. Absolute genius this is! I bow down to these people, they go against the scientific fact and rebel! I, by accident, walked onto a nude beach once, and that was too much rebellion for me, to be honest. Their bits flying around back and forth.. people constantly bumping into each other, coincidently if you know what I mean..

Well.. that's all for now, don't forget, never go on a nude beach.. nude beaches and relationships can scar your holidays! a risk I'm not sure is worth taking. I suppose it depends on who you are.

Adios

Help, if you can give it?

I love how on this blog "thing", people can look, stare and sometimes smile if something amuses them, but when it comes to leaving a comment, they don't actually leave one. The thing is, I want your opinion so that I can be a better writer. So, please don't hesitate to say that one of my posts was terrible, but do tell me why.

That sounded hypocritical, oh well.

Anyway, here are some pictures you can show your family to make them giggle or even put as your ipod background.

Me Ranting

I have been to many places, and I swear I was a born traveller. I have been all over Europe and I hope to explore more, into every continent available to me. Yes, I am the typical explorer but I don't travel too much. Once a year I go on holiday to a random place, not always a cheap holiday. Sometimes, I go on all inclusive holidays, which I don't particularly understand. This is because if you go on an all inclusive abroad then u aren't going to explore and see the sites because you are restricted by your campus, whether it is a hotel or not.

To me, the whole idea of going somewhere else, is to discover the new and to set yourself free from your usual lifestyle. Not just going abroad and sitting in front of someone else's TV watching worse things than you would at home!

I suppose that maybe there is some reason for going all inclusive abroad somewhere. It is for the radiating sun and the get away experience of a lifetime... what a load of rubbish... The sun is everywhere, and you can find it by looking up into the sky, and if you are too lazy to do that, then maybe sit next to a radiator or a fire place for second or two to get your juices flowing. Also, those few who want a "get away experience" have definitely been mislead. They have obviously been reading to many of those luring leaflets and pompous pamphlets that are written to persuade you into a false sense of security and then guide you into supposedly better place.

Anyway, with some people you may find that they don't need or want to leave their home, as they don't have any reason to. I salute these people, because they have obviously realized that going abroad isn't an escape out of their own life. You are just continuing it as you are going to come back to it eventually. People just need to realize this and continue to live their lives and only go on holiday for the enjoyment, and not for an escape.

Finally, maybe I can share with you this last piece of guidance; Don't drink, smoke, drink and drive, take drugs and even attempt to swim with a deadly shark.
Thank you for reading.

Cannes, South of France

The south of france, what a wonder! It is where you can stroll along the “Promenade de la Croisette”, watching the glistening sun on the beach. It’s heaven! There are film festivals, hotels, beaches and shops, all of these are of course at an exquisite standard but you have to be willing to spend a small fortune.

What does the South of France have to offer? It offers ... Cannes; if the South of France was a treasure chest then Cannes would be the prized pearl. Cannes offers the family an escape, a beach holiday, where mum and dad can read a book whilst their children go into the sea and can splash about. You can see the sea reach out and grab the children one by one. This beach is one of few, located right next to the Mediterranean Sea known for its crystal clear waters and its sun kissed coastline.

Adding to that spectacular scenery is the palm lined promenade filled with great bars, cafes and restaurants designed for those who want to soak up the atmosphere as well as the sun. Here you can visit the local Italian restaurant “La Frégate” where you can fill your satisfaction for food with prodigious pizza! However, if Italian food isn’t what you are looking for, then explore the promenade as there is a variety of restaurants with all unique food selections.
France is famous for its food. You only have to walk down the “La Croisette” at eight am to smell the typical French baguettes cooking in the bakeries. However, if bread doesn’t send your taste buds tingling then walk down the front and have an evening meal to try “Escargot” (Snails) for starters, and “Crepes” for dessert and top it off by cracking open a bottle of Champagne! You will be truly living the celebrity lifestyle then.
At this point you are probably thinking that you can only go on this holiday in the summer. However, Cannes also offers a film festival that takes place from the 16th to the 27th of May, showing all the recent films and promoting each and every one. They also highlight cinematic creation making the films come alive for every single person.
(The Beach in Cannes)

If your coming here during May then make sure to bring your Kodak cameras and become a paparazzi as you celebrity spot each and everyone.
Anyway, if you’re going to come to Cannes then you are going to need a place to stay. Here in Cannes hotels are everywhere! But they don’t come cheap! If you want to encounter a celebrity or two then you should go to the Carlton, one of the most famous landmarks in Cannes. In the Carlton it is quite expensive; it can be up to ten euro’s for a coke, so make sure to bring some extra change.

On the other hand, if you don’t fancy all the ‘glitz and glam’ of ‘The Carlton’ then go to a French Bijous hotel (small French hotel). These hotels are normally family orientated and you get a full French experience. I saw one with a rather cliché slogan, which was “Le petit maison” (the little house). Here, the aroma of garlic was truly remarkable.

Ca-Ching! Yes, this will be the noise of the cash register inside those posh, fancy shops. Inside will be things like handbags to golden bracelets. These shops are Gucci, Channel, Dior, all the shops a shopaholic could dream of. From the moment that you step foot in Cannes, you will realise that there isn’t a thing you could think of that isn’t available to you.

Cannes is a city and therefore traffic can be horrendous, I do not advise that you hire a car at all, if you get a hotel in the city then travelling on foot is the best way to explore, but if you find this too exhausting try the french tour guides, you can ask your local hotel for brochures and then visit anywhere from “Grassmere’s perfume factory” to “St tropez”. Whilst on the bus, the tour guides normally speak excellent english and can point things out to you like where Angelina Jolie is staying and which beach is the most popular for locals, it’s hard to believe how much information these tour guides actually have! It’s really useful to go on one of these tours, you get to explore more, do some sighteseeing and can even get some free perfume samples if you do venture to the perfume factory.

Another event that occurs in Cannes is the spectacular firework display! With vibrant colours flying all over the place! For six nights in a row! This spectacular display is hosted on the 29th of July, known for its extremely long performance and its incomparably sized fireworks.  Since 1967 France have been known for putting on a show, so make sure you get over here and watch the fireworks explode like the cork off a champagne bottle.

Finally, when visiting France the culture of the native French people, will be intriguing but because there is a lot to explore, don’t forget to enjoy. Also, you may need to learn some typical French phrases before going out there in case you want to ask questions about this seductive sanctuary that is, Cannes.  Therefore, don’t just sit at home this summer, take the journey of a life time and visit the French Riviera. You won’t be sorry.

I actually wrote this :) and I obviously put pictures in but it wasn't working when I uploaded the blog :P so I just copy and pasted the words. If anyone needs an article for school or if you are a French tourist board take this!
